Happy Halloween from Nelson Wood Shims!🎃👻

We finished out the month with plenty of laughs, creativity, and fresh popcorn during our Halloween Costume Contest!

Our employee-owners definitely brought their A-game. We had an ostrich, Lord Farquaad & Princess Fiona from Shrek, the Energizer Bunny, Ms. Rachel, a nun, and plenty of other great costumes roaming around today!

We’ve had such a great time celebrating Employee Ownership Month together, and today was the perfect way to finish it off. 🧡

We were excited to welcome students from Remer's Northland Community School to Nelson Wood Shims today for a student tour!

We hope this firsthand look at the manufacturing industry helps spark curiosity, new ideas, and possibilities for what their futures could hold. It was a pleasure sharing a glimpse into what we do and the opportunities that exist right here in our region.

A big thank you to the Arrowhead Manufacturers & Fabricators Association for coordinating these tours and helping connect local students with local manufacturers. We’re grateful to be part of it!

Yesterday, Schroeder Sweets helped us celebrate Employee Ownership Month and National Dessert Day with an amazing spread of gourmet cupcakes, brownies, and more!
