Marking another milestone with the completion of a shoofly bridge on the Improve I-70: Warrenton to Wentzville project. ✅

It took 250 tons of steel to bring this temporary structure to life. The shoofly bridge keeps trains moving while we demo the existing bridge and make way for what’s next.

When it's all said and done, ten lanes will run beneath the new structure, including eight lanes of interstate and two outer roads.

Helicopters. Bears. Mountain biking. Not your typical jobsite, but it’s become the normal for our crew in Mena, Arkansas. 🚁

We’re working with Kinco Constructors on what will be the largest lift-served mountain bike park in the world. Our crew carved out access roads to the lower 15 towers so concrete trucks could get to them. The 11 higher up were too steep for trucks, so Black Hawk helicopters came in to get the job done.

That's a wrap on 20th Street. 👊

Our Joplin crew has officially completed 1.92 miles of roadway improvements, including a new center turn lane and two roundabouts to improve traffic flow and access for local businesses and residents.

These improvements help connect South Joplin to the state line while making it easier for people to get where they need to go.

MAJOR kudos to the crew for getting it done. 💪

GIS is more than a map. 👀 ESS GIS Analyst Chris Johnson and Director of Technology Paul Tierney recently joined the Kansas Association of Mappers for its 41st Annual Conference, where they shared how ESS is using GIS across our projects and building tools around the needs of the people doing the work.

Our crew wrapped up work on the Gentry Estates senior living community expansion. 💪

From dirt work to concrete paving, sidewalks, and underground utilities, our employee-owners handled a little bit of everything on this one.

Here's a look at what they knocked out:
✅ 26,625 CY of dirt work
✅ 6,770 SY of concrete paving
✅ 11,435 SF of sidewalk paving
✅ 2,515 LF of storm sewer
✅ 1,265 LF of waterline
