Comfort is a combination of temperature and humidity.
We go into so many homes, and a problem that's not discussed often enough is humidity.
Most homeowners like their thermostat set somewhere between 72°F and 76°F (with the occasional 67°F 😄).
While temperature is important, we also strive to keep indoor relative humidity between 45% and 55%.
Some of the most common causes of high humidity we see in the field are:
• Oversized HVAC systems
• Poor airflow
• Improper return air design
• Thermostat and equipment technology
• Short HVAC run times
• Bathroom and kitchen exhaust issues
• Air leakage and other home envelope issues
Your HVAC system has two jobs:

💧 Remove moisture
Many times, a home can reach the desired temperature and still feel uncomfortable because the humidity is too high.
