From QSRs and car washes to medical, dental, and senior living, DeLauter works across more industries than most, and we bring the same standard to every single one.

We just kicked off a full interior renovation at Morningside House of Leesburg in Leesburg, VA. It's a three-floor, four-phase project covering flooring, drywall, electrical, plumbing, millwork, painting, tile, and crown moulding... all in an occupied senior living facility, where coordination and care aren't optional.

This month, and more specifically this week, we're recognizing two members of the DeLauter team.

Diane Dotson is celebrating one year on the 15th as our Midwest Office Coordinator. Diane keeps operations moving behind the scenes, and her impact on the day-to-day of our MW division is felt by everyone around her.

Mike Curtis is celebrating two years on the 17th as a Construction Manager in our Southeast division. Mike brings consistency to every project he's on and has built strong relationships with the trade partners we rely on.

Congratulations to both. We're lucky to have you.

The express car wash sector is one of the most active in commercial construction right now, and it's not slowing down.

Express tunnel formats now command 55% of the North American car wash market, and the industry is on track to grow from $17.3B to $22.9B by 2031. Operators are expanding aggressively, and the builders who understand the format, the site requirements, the equipment timelines, and the throughput demands, are the ones getting the calls!

Last month, ModWash held their official grand opening for their new Lakeland Location, and they did it in a big way!

Over 400 cars were served on day one. That's the kind of opening day that makes everything that went into the build worth it.

We're grateful to the ModWash team for trusting DeLauter with this project, and proud of our Southeast division for delivering a finished product that was ready for exactly this moment.

After a recent job shadow visit at our Turbocharger Test Cell Restoration project, a principal from ACS Headquarters and Manufacturing shared how impressed he was with Midwest Construction Manager Pauly Reed.

Pauly spent time mentoring two sophomores from New Glarus High School (WI), walking them through plans, introducing them to the construction industry, and giving them a firsthand look at the project and campus. He took a few hours out of his day to ensure the students had a meaningful, engaging experience, and it showed.

What stood out most was his genuine passion for people and the work we do. His positive, “cup is always full” mindset left a lasting impression not only on the students, but also on leadership.

The students walked away with more than just notes for an assignment, they left with a story, a new perspective, and inspiration for the future.

We’re proud to have team members like Pauly who represent our company and industry so well. We definitely need more “Pauly’s” in this world.

Strong projects require strong field leadership.

This month’s Employee Spotlight features Stephen Wright, DeLauter Sr. Construction Manager, and one of the strongest field leaders within our Southeast division.

Stephen is regularly trusted with some of DeLauter’s largest and most complex projects. His attention to detail, ability to interpret plans and specifications, and strong understanding of each subcontractor’s scope of work help keep projects moving forward with clarity.

Beyond his technical experience, Stephen is known for building strong relationships with trade partners, owners, inspectors, customers, and fellow team members. His leadership helps create the team approach needed to deliver successful projects from start to finish.
