A new chapter for Burrowes Elementary.

The 2026–2027 school year is officially underway, and we’re proud to share the finished Burrowes Elementary School in the School District of Lancaster.
The new 53,000-square-foot school replaces the original building, which was constructed in 1954. After more than 70 years of serving Lancaster students, it had simply reached the end of its useful life.

And now, after all the planning, coordination, early mornings, long days, and countless details that go into a project like this, the most important part is happening:
Students are walking through the doors.

That’s what makes projects like this worth building. We’re proud to have been part of creating a new home for learning, growing, and making memories for generations of Lancaster students.

Meet the eciConstruction caulking crew. Well… most of them. Keith is missing... he’s a little elusive when it comes to the camera, and we’re starting to think he actively hides from us.

Caulking and sealant work might seem like a small part of a project, but it plays a critical role in the performance of a building. Properly installed sealants help control air and water infiltration, protect joints and transitions, and contribute to the long-term durability of the building envelope.
