🍻It was so much fun bringing our BeerBot 2.0 to Wednesday's TMA Manufacturing Bots & Brews event! Integrated by our team, Doug Schumacher & Ronald L. Kenyeri (with final say by me at each stage, ha), this Hanwha Robotics cobot maneuvered the glass just right for the perfect pour. Doug and Ron also set up the beer taps to be actuated by pistons - signaled by the cobot program to open and close. This improved the cobot's ability to achieve a low-foam pour. We can set one of these up for YOUR event if you reach out!

We appreciate being included this Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA) Supplier Network Committee event to spread cheer🍺in our interactive, robotic way. And we thank those that made this fun event possible including TMA partners American Community Bank & Trust, Chatfield Global LLC, United Scrap Metal, Inc., Fifth Third Bank, Busey Bank, Cushman & Wakefield, Huntington Commercial Bank, and Signature Bank, as well as event sponsors Caton Commercial Real Estate Group, Cornerstone National Bank & Trust Company, Custom Direct, Inc. (we LOVE how they did our website!), Sassetti LLC, CPAs, Schooley Mitchell, Servepro Team Zubricki, and # Topel Forman LLC.

Today CEO Tracy Hauppa-Kenyeri had the opportunity as a chemical engineer and a manufacturing company owner to speak to 9 young women students at St. Laurence High School about her story and experience with STEM careers and working in industry.

These students are all in an international baccalaureate program and want to pursue an engineering or other STEM field. It was amazing to meet them. We’re sure they will all accomplish amazing things in life! Thank you to Bob Hogan for arranging this event!

The Kenyeri family is honored to be featured in a workforce article leading up to the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) about the positive impact of bringing their kids to the Saturday of the show every time it was in town since 2008. Don’t miss the largest manufacturing show in the Western Hemisphere at McCormick Place this September 14-19!!!

Growing up going to IMTS inspired two brothers' curiosity, confidence, and paths toward STEM careers and innovation.

Thank you to the Valley Industrial Association of Illinois for including our Kenyeri Engineering & Manufacturing, LLC leadership team in their inaugural cohort of Manufacturing Growth Systems & Leadership Capacity Development.

We covered topics crucical to sustaining and growing a business. We came out of this presenting our Capstone Project (pic below) at Bureau Gravity in Aurora. The challenge to develop that project and the spreadsheet tool we used to test it ensured our time spent in the 8 sessions will "stick". We fully expect to achieve real positive change as a result of this savvy program taught by none other than the charismatic Ray Ziganto of the VIA.

We further benefited from a related session at our shop with our entire team led by amazing President of the VIA, Kathy Gilmore, who champions The Six Types of Working Genius to ferret out what type of work brings each employee joy as we optimize who is best for which effort or indentify gaps we should hire for.

This program was provided in generous partnership with workNet DuPage!

Pix below are CEO Tracy Hauppa-Kenyeri's and her husband & business partner, Ronald L. Kenyeri presenting their Capstone Project, and them with their Shop Manager/Lead Machinist Tom Tocco upon graduation. It was also wonderful getting to know the teams from Simplex System Controls and Abrasive West LLC who were part of our class as well.

Camaraderie between women in the manufacturing space can be hard to come by. Which is why I wanted to share one more clip from last week’s Annual Cornerstone National Bank & Trust Company Golf Outing at Biltmore Country Club generously hosted by bank president Jeff Boundy.

Cornerstone’s Jessica Slaby and I shared the cart I ended up driving and had the best time on the links that day. Jessica brought together Lauren Zangl of Partner Engineering & Science, Inc. and Kimberly Wasney of Ripples Edge Advisors and me from Kenyeri Engineering & Manufacturing, LLC for our woman power foursome. Good golfing, laughs and industry backgrounds were shared on an ideal weather day at this gorgeous course.

It was a great day for we women to look out for each other and be supportive in a sometimes challenging sport, and to keep each other in mind for business needs going forward.

Thank you to Jessica Slaby of Cornerstone National Bank & Trust Company for a wonderful round of golf⛳at Thursday's Annual Cornerstone Golf Outing at the gorgeous Biltmore Country Club generously hosted by bank president Jeff Boundy. It was fantastic meeting and golfing with athletic and savvy Lauren Zangl of Partner Engineering & Science, Inc. and Kimberly Wasney of Ripples Edge Advisors. Kenyeri Engineering & Manufacturing's CEO Tracy Hauppa-Kenyeri enjoyed learning more about their businesses and sharing how our company offers solutions in automation and workholding, such as control panels, integrated Hanwha Robotics cobots and other turnkey systems, machined parts and Seoam chucks.

Part of our automation offerings are control panel builds. Here we feature an in-shop test of a 16kVA Inverter for rail, something on the larger end of what we do. We test our quality work to ensure the panel operates well in the field.

These inverters turn DC power running the trains to AC power that can be used at the station to power lights, info screens, turnstyles, escalators etc. We proudly build these for our partners Meade and the Chicago Transit Authority to power CTA train stations and work from Powernetics' design, who originally brought us on board to build these in the USA in 2020.

Reach out or your next controls project or production run of panels.

We can also provide a sleeve over the cobot if you prefer.

Hanwha's next gen HCR-5W designed for welding has +/- 0.02mm accuracy for increased welding precision and is widely used in confined spaces in the ship building industry. Reach out to our team if you're welding rail cars, containers, dumpsters or in other confined space areas.

The easy-to-use Rodi interface has a great welding add-on for easy integration with your equipment and setup of the welding path.
