Eau Claire Cooperative Oil Company is growing, and we’re looking for a **Coating Technician – Poly Coated Urea (PCU)** to join our team!

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with equipment, troubleshooting, and being part of a team that keeps things moving. You’ll help operate our PCU production process, perform quality testing, handle materials, operate forklifts and heavy equipment, and assist with maintenance and day-to-day plant operations.

**Schedule:** Tuesday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, with the potential for an 8-hour shift every other weekend. Hours may vary or rotate as needed.

One of our favorite traditions at our Annual Employee Appreciation Event is giving our employees the opportunity to choose local organizations they want to support. ❤️

This year, our team came together and raised more than $3,000 for two incredible local organizations: Chippewa Valley Wildlife Rehabilitation and the Chippewa Valley Chapter Eau Claire- Delta Waterfowl.

What makes these donations especially meaningful is that they come directly from our employees. They chose the organizations they contributed to, and together they made a difference right here in the Chippewa Valley.

We are incredibly proud of this group and grateful for the generosity they continue to show our community.

Because employee appreciation isn’t only about celebrating our team—it’s also about celebrating the impact we can make when we come together.

Happy Birthday to our Fuel Supervisor, Dan!

Dan has been with us for almost a year, but honestly, he fits in so well it feels like he’s been part of the team much longer. He’s always willing to jump in, lend a helping hand, and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Now, his music selection? 🎶😬 That may still be up for debate… but we’ll keep him around anyway. 😂

This past week, our hearts have been heavy as our community has experienced tremendous loss. Losing members of our community is always difficult, but learning of the loss of two local young men, Adam and Noah, has hit especially hard.

Over the years, we have been fortunate to get to know so many young people through our local fairs and 4-H programs. We see them in the barns, bid on and purchase their animals, celebrate their accomplishments, and have the privilege of watching them grow year after year.

Adam was nearing the end of his time in 4-H, while Noah was just beginning his 4-H journey. Two young lives at very different stages, both leaving an impact on the people and community around them.

Our hearts are with their families, friends, fellow 4-H members, classmates, and everyone grieving these heartbreaking losses.

Adam and Noah, you will both be dearly missed. 💚💚

That’s a wrap on fair season! 🐄🐖🐑

We wrapped up our final fair of the season on Friday at the Pierce County Fair and Fairgrounds (WI).

A big thank you to the “Marks,” our driver Jared, and of course, the real boss, Kris 😉 for heading out, supporting the exhibitors, and doing some bidding on behalf of Chippewa Valley Energy.

We’re proud to support the hardworking youth involved in agriculture throughout the communities we serve. 💚
