We love getting the drone out whenever we can because it really give you a look at everything going on at a site. You can see the haul routes, the equipment placement, the areas already taking shape and the work that’s still ahead.

On the ground, everyone is focused on the task in front of them. From the air, you get to see how all those pieces fit together.

A lot of moving parts for one plan.

Meet Brannon Ward, President of Great Plains Construction and the guy who started it all back in 2007.

An Edmond native, Brannon has watched GPC grow from two employees and a backhoe into the company it is today.

When he's not keeping things moving at GPC, he's spending time with his crew at home, his wife, 3 kids, plus three dogs and a barn cat.

And apparently, if the world is ending, don't bother Brannon with anything fancy....just get the man a steak. 🥩

There's a ton of GPC's expertise buried underground. Literally.

Long before a project starts taking shape above ground, our crews are hard at work. Drainage, soil stabilization, excavation, grading...the stuff that eventually gets covered up is some of the most important work to do on a construction site.

And once it's buried, nobody thinks much about it.

And that's exactly how it should be. When site development is done right, the next crews can come in and keep building without having to think twice about what's underneath them.

Did you know that GPC serves Oklahoma and the surrounding states? We’ve completed projects in 12 surrounding states, to be exact. So, if you aren’t in Oklahoma and have a site development project don’t stop that from giving us a call!

We don't think it's asking too much!

Different jobs. Different challenges. Different ground conditions. And there’s always something satisfying about watching a site take shape.

From the first cut to the final grade, we get to watch a set of plans turn into something real every day.

The BEST way to see our work is normally from about 200 feet above ground.
