🏆❤️ WE WON! VAMP Stucco is officially a 2026 BBB Torch Award for Ethics WINNER! 🎉

Some awards recognize the work you do. Others recognize the values behind it. This one means everything.

Since 2008, we’ve poured our hearts into building more than a construction company. We’ve built a family business grounded in honesty, integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to doing what’s right — even when it’s not the easiest choice.

In an industry where trust means everything, being recognized by the Better Business Bureau for ETHICS is an honor we don’t take lightly.

Nearly two decades of hard work, challenges, lessons, and growth have brought us here. And while we’re incredibly proud of the projects we’ve completed, it’s the relationships we’ve built and the trust we’ve earned that truly define our success.

To our amazing team, our customers, and everyone who has believed in us along the way — this award belongs to all of you! ❤️

✨ We’re proud of what we’ve built, but even prouder of HOW we’ve built it.

Here’s to continuing to raise the standard, one project and one promise at a time.

Lorena Cantarovici and I have been friends for over 25 years, and she still loves to tell people that I was her very first friend in this country. ❤️

She was one of the warmest, most loving people I had ever met.

There was just one problem: I spoke almost NO Spanish, and she almost NO English. 😂

It turns out laughing until your stomach hurts, being constantly ridiculous, and genuinely caring about each other doesn’t need much translation.

Over the years, I watched Lorena work tirelessly for her dream. I remember those early days when she was selling empanadas on the street during First Friday, making deliveries herself, and pushing forward even when the delivery truck would break down in the middle of her route.

At the same time, Vaughan and I were building our construction company, raising two young children, and I was going to CU to finish my degree.

Looking back, we were both simply doing whatever it took to build a better future.

There were no shortcuts — just long days, hard work, sacrifice, persistence, a lot of figuring things out as we went, and faith that there was something bigger ahead.

And somehow, there was.

Twenty-five years later, here we are.

Two Latinas with very different stories.

One born here. One born somewhere else.
One who grew up speaking Spanish. One who never did.

Our experiences are different. Our paths are different. Even the way we connect to our heritage is different.

But we are both Latina.

And we are both American.

That is what Hispanic Heritage Month means to me. There is no single way to be Latina, just as there is no single story of what it means to be American.

And I don’t think there are many things more beautiful than being able to look at someone who knew you when you were just starting out and say:

Look how far we came.

I am so incredibly proud of her, and I know she is proud of me too.

So on this final day of Hispanic Heritage Month, I celebrate more than where we come from. I celebrate the courage, work ethic, resilience, family, friendship, and determination that helped bring us here.

Here’s to our heritage.
Here’s to the hustle.
Here’s to 25 years of friendship.
And here’s to never, ever forgetting where we started. ❤️

¡Viva Maria Empanada y viva VAMP Stucco!

VAMP Stucco is proud to be named a 2026 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics Finalist.

This recognition means a great deal to us because the Torch Awards celebrate businesses that demonstrate integrity, ethical leadership, and a commitment to doing the right thing for their customers, employees, and community.

Since 2008, we’ve worked hard to build VAMP Stucco around more than craftsmanship alone. We believe trust is earned through honest communication, accurate estimating, accountability, professionalism, and standing behind the work we do.

Being recognized by the Better Business Bureau as a finalist is an incredible honor and a reflection of the standards our entire team works to uphold every day.

We’re grateful to our employees, customers, industry partners, and community for continuing to trust VAMP Stucco.

Thank you, BBB, for this recognition. We are honored to be a 2026 Torch Awards for Ethics Finalist.

Jaqui and I had the opportunity to attend an event with Tatiana Argüello, President and General Manager of Telemundo Colorado and Telemundo Utah, and it was such an inspiring experience.

As a successful Latina leader, Tatiana has accomplished so much in her career, but what impressed us just as much was how kind, genuine, and generous she was with her time. She took the time to talk with us about her life, her journey, and some of the experiences and lessons that have contributed to her success.

There is something really special about seeing successful women — especially Latina women in leadership — support and encourage others by openly sharing what they’ve learned along the way.

We left feeling inspired, grateful, and very appreciative of the time she spent with us. ❤️

A total reconstruction is the most expensive way to fix a house that might only need a new finish.

A full tear-off is not always necessary, though many contractors will tell you otherwise.

If the structure of your home is sound, a reskim can provide 15 to 20 years of protection and updated curb appeal at a fraction of the cost. This involves applying a new acrylic polymer finish coat that seals hairline cracks and refreshes the entire exterior.

At VAMP Stucco, our estimators are salaried, which means they have zero incentive to sell you a more expensive project than you actually need. Every bid is reviewed by three experts to ensure the scope of work is honest and accurate.

We’ve spent 18 years in Colorado building a reputation on telling homeowners the truth, even when it saves them money.

A small crack in your stucco is rarely just a cosmetic issue.

If you ignore the source of the problem now, you will almost certainly pay a hefty price to fix the consequences later.

When we strip a repair down to the lath, we do it because moisture trapped behind cement plaster, compromises the lath, and turns a simple repair into a reconstruction.

Slapping a fresh coat of finish over hidden damage doesn’t stop the clock. At VAMP Stucco, we rebuild every layer to manufacturer specifications to ensure the system is watertight and structurally sound. Since 2008, our family-owned business has focused on doing the job right the first time so you do not have to revisit the same repair in two years.

He said we weren’t the cheapest. And he STILL chose us.

Because the lowest bid and the best value are almost never the same thing.

Dennie trusted us with his home and said we FAR EXCEEDED his expectations, and that result comes down to our process. While some contractors lowball a bid just to get a foot in the door, our three salaried estimators review every project to ensure the scope is accurate and honest from day one.

We identify potential moisture issues upfront, specify the correct repair method for your specific system, and use our mobile color lab to ensure the finish actually matches. Since 2008, our family-owned business has focused on providing a permanent fix rather than a temporary bargain.

And 200+ positive reviews will tell you how we get things done.

PS: The cheapest bid usually costs you twice.
