44 years is more than a career. It's a lifetime of commitment, hard work, and loyalty.
This week, we celebrated a truly remarkable milestone—the retirement of Steve Carr after more than four decades of dedicated service.
Steve started working at Micro Mold when it operated out of a small garage on Filmore Avenue. There were no CNC machines, no molding machines, and no computers.
What stands out most is not the number of years, but the quality of those years. Steve has earned the respect of colleagues, customers, and everyone fortunate enough to work alongside him. Whether he was helping a coworker, solving a problem, encouraging the next generation to pursue a career in tool and die, or simply offering a word of encouragement, he made a lasting difference in the lives of many people. He is a man of integrity, empathy, respect, and dignity—a man who has set the example and lived it daily. He has challenged people to achieve more and become the best they can be because he truly and genuinely cares about others.
On behalf of Plastikos, Micro Mold, and Plastikos Medical, thank you, Steve, for your dedication and contributions. You have helped shape this workplace into what it is today, and your legacy will continue long after your last day within our walls. We are grateful for everything you have done, proud of all you have accomplished, and honored to have had you as part of our Team and our family.
