UCC’s President & CEO, Ray Palumbo, recently attended the GE Vernova Annual United Way Golf Tournament in support of the United Way of the Cape Fear Area, an initiative that has raised millions to support local communities throughout southeastern North Carolina.

As a proud sponsor of the event, UCC enjoyed the day alongside longtime UCC Project Manager Matt Jackson, a recent GE Vernova Nuclear retiree, and fellow representatives from the organization.

Hosted by the Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO), this event brings together members of the dam safety community to share insights, discuss regional priorities, and support the ongoing improvement of dam systems.
