Founded in 1985, Gribbins Insulation & Scaffolding has grown into a leading commercial and industrial mechanical insulation and scaffolding contractor. We specialize in insulating mechanical and process systems—such as piping, ductwork, and special equipment—for a wide variety of facilities, including hospitals, schools, power plants, and manufacturing buildings. To better serve our customers and

meet their growing needs, we launched our scaffolding division in 2021. Integrity, quality, safety, and service are at the core of everything we do. With four locations in Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio, we primarily operate throughout the Midwest. Process piping in a Southern Indiana manufacturing facility was insulated with fiberglass pipe covering and field-finished with PVC jacketing.

This project required applying insulation in a high-traffic area utilized daily by on-site personnel. Client satisfaction depended heavily on delivering an exceptionally clean, premium visual aesthetic. Functionally, the chilled water process piping operated under extreme temperature differentials, creating a severe, continuous risk of condensation. The completed installation successfully mitigates all moisture risks while delivering a flawless, high-end professional finish!

Happy National Intern Day! Last week, we celebrated with our annual intern day!

On the first day, the group participated in team-building activities, including Gribbins Bingo, a mystery LEGO build, and office Olympics. Each intern also gave a presentation about the projects they worked on this summer and what they learned along the way. We wrapped up the day at Birdies, where the group continued the fun with food and games!

The next day, we visited a jobsite so our interns could see firsthand how the work they support in the office comes together in the field.

We’re grateful for everything our interns have contributed this summer and enjoyed having the opportunity to celebrate their hard work!
