Truck in. Truck out. Weight recorded.

Vehicle weighing doesn’t have to create a bottleneck. A well-designed truck scale system can help simplify the process of capturing incoming and outgoing vehicle weights while giving operators the information they need to keep material, loads, and transactions moving.

With the right indicator and scale setup, businesses can make vehicle tracking more consistent, reduce manual steps, and improve visibility into what is entering and leaving the site.

For busy operations, a smoother weigh-in/weigh-out process means less time managing the scale and more time keeping trucks moving.

What could your operation do with up to 30% more productivity?

Traditional weighing can require forklift operators to transport a load to a stationary scale, stop, weigh it, and then continue on to its destination. A forklift scale brings weighing directly into the material-handling process.

Lift. Weigh. Move. Record.

By eliminating unnecessary trips to a separate scale, forklift weighing can help increase productivity by as much as 30% while also providing accurate weight data for inventory, shipping, and material tracking.

Keep your operation moving without adding another step to the workflow.

Accurate weight data can do more than document a process. It can drive it.

The Avery Weigh-Tronix ZM220 Signal Processor is designed to connect weighing equipment with PCs, PLCs and automated control systems. It captures precise weight data and communicates it directly to the systems controlling a process—all without requiring a local display or keypad.

With support for Ethernet, Bluetooth®, serial communication, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and configurable I/O setpoints, the ZM220 can help automate functions such as:
• Starting or stopping equipment
• Monitoring filling and batching processes
• Triggering actions at preset weight targets
• Recording and transmitting process data
• Sending alerts when targets or faults are detected

When weight data becomes part of the control system, operations can respond more quickly, consistently and efficiently.

A truck scale does more than capture a vehicle’s weight. When properly integrated into an operation, it can help improve how vehicles, materials and transaction data move through a facility.

Truck scale systems can support:
• Faster vehicle processing
• More accurate weight records
• Improved load verification
• Reduced manual data entry
• Better visibility into material movement
• More efficient inbound and outbound workflows

From a single truck scale to a connected, driver-operated system, the right solution can turn weighing into an important part of a more efficient operation.

A small counting error can become a much bigger inventory problem.

When businesses rely on manual counts for large quantities of components, even minor discrepancies can lead to inaccurate stock levels, unnecessary purchasing, shortages, or production delays. The Avery Weigh-Tronix ZK840 Counting Scale helps take the guesswork out of parts inventory by using highly accurate weight-based counting to quickly determine the quantity of identical components.

With repeatable count accuracy up to 99.75%, the ZK840 can help teams:
• Count large quantities of parts faster than manual counting
• Reduce operator counting errors
• Maintain more accurate stock-on-hand information
• Store piece weights and part information for frequently counted items
• Track inventory as components are added to or removed from stock

Its built-in database can store approximately 5,000 piece weights, giving operators quick access to the information they need for recurring inventory tasks.

For larger operations, the ZK840 can also connect with Avery Weigh-Tronix PLU Lookup software to manage data for hundreds of thousands of parts across multiple scales.
Because better inventory decisions start with an accurate count.

A truck scale may be purchased once, but its value is measured across every load that crosses it. In demanding operations, repeated heavy loading, harsh weather, moisture, and debris can take a toll on weighing equipment.
A lower initial price can quickly lose its appeal when frequent repairs and unplanned downtime begin to interrupt operations.

Avery Weigh-Tronix truck scales are built in Fairmont, Minnesota, for dependable performance over a long service life.
Their durable design includes:
• High-quality steel construction
• Fully assembled, 100% welded weighbridges
• Rugged Weigh Bar® weight sensors
• Protected components built for demanding environments
• Factory testing to NIST, NTEP and ISO requirements
• Warranty options designed to support a lower cost of ownership

The true value of a truck scale is not simply its cost on installation day. It is the accurate performance, uptime, and service it continues to provide year after year.
