8 years for Bryan Poppe!

If you’ve worked around Bryan for any length of time, you’ve probably heard someone say, “Just have Poppe do it.”

Not because it’s his job. Because chances are, he can.

Over the last 8 years, Poppe has put a mile or two on the lowboy, hopped in a truck, ran an excavator, helped watch buildings come to life, and helped tear a few down. No matter what the day calls for, he’s willing to climb into whatever piece of equipment needs to be operated and pitch in wherever he can.

Some days start in a truck, end in a scraper, and include three different jobs in between. Poppe has never seemed to mind. He just goes where he’s needed and gets to work. Somehow, through all of it, his boots still look cleaner than they have any right to. 😉

The people who keep a company moving aren’t always the loudest people on the jobsite. Sometimes they’re the ones who can be counted on to jump in, help out, and do whatever needs to be done.

5 Years for Amy Cook!

For the last 5 years, Amy has been one of those people who does a little bit of everything - but somehow always does everything right.

From keeping inventory organized and handling the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the shop running smoothly to helping keep crews moving, jumping in a quad, and proving that the grass really is greener wherever Amy is - not just because of the hydroseeding, but because of the positivity and care she brings to those around her - Amy is always willing to go wherever the day takes her.

No matter what’s on the other end of that phone call, Amy rarely hesitates to answer. Whether it’s a coworker who needs a hand, a crew that’s in a bind, or a job that needs another set of hands, she’s the kind of person people know they can count on. That’s who she’s been for the last five years, and it’s one of the many reasons we’re grateful to have her on our team.

Over the years, she’s also become the heart of the shop. She’s the one checking in on people, keeping everyone in the loop, and making sure things don’t fall through the cracks. And if you’ve spent any time around Amy, you know there’s usually a story, a conversation, or a laugh not far behind.

19 Years for Bob Minscer!

Nineteen years ago, Bob showed up fresh out of college, ready to learn the trade. Nearly two decades later, he’s become one of those people you simply don’t have to worry about. If Bob is on a job, you know it’s going to be handled.

Anyone who’s worked with him knows he likes things done right. The paperwork is on time, the details are covered, and the job site is clean and organized. Not because someone is looking over his shoulder, but because that’s just who Bob is.

Over the years, he’s become a trusted leader, teacher, and resource for countless employees. Whether it’s answering questions, training someone new, or sharing what he’s learned, Bob has always been willing to help others succeed.

A true one-man show, Bob takes ownership of every project from start to finish and treats it like it’s his own. The trust he’s earned from coworkers, customers, and the company wasn’t built overnight - it was built over 19 years of showing up, doing the job right, and being someone people can count on.

Thank you, Bob, for 19 years of dedication and for being one of the people who helps make this company what it is today! We know you’d rather be working than reading a post about yourself, but you’ve earned this one. 😉

13 years for Chris Frank!

If you’ve worked with Frank, you know he’s not there to stand around and look busy - he’s there to complete the job. Whether it’s a two-day job or a project that lasts all summer, you know exactly what you’re getting with Frank - someone who shows up ready to work, takes pride in what he does, and sees the job through to the end. He doesn’t waste time, doesn’t cut corners, and isn’t afraid to jump into whatever needs to be done to keep the project moving forward. He’s the kind of guy who’d rather spend five minutes doing the work than thirty minutes talking about it.

Frank has built a reputation over the years as someone who takes pride in doing things the right way. He cares about the quality of the work, respects the equipment he operates, and holds himself to a high standard. You always know where you stand with Frank, and that’s one of the reasons he’s earned so much respect from his coworkers.

13 years, too many projects to name, and more than a few rooster calls along the way. We’re proud to have Frank on the team and look forward to seeing what the next chapter brings!

6 years for Alanna Nutt!

For the last 6 years, Alanna has shown that this industry isn’t about who you are - it’s about who’s willing to work hard, learn fast, and step up when/where it’s needed. And she does just that.

Never afraid to ask questions to better herself, help around the shop, or hop into equipment and learn something new, she’s become one tough girl in a pink hard hat that the crews can depend on.

Thank you for always showing up, putting in the work, and handling the dirty jobs right alongside the rest of the crew. We appreciate you, Alanna!

Big thank you to the Martin County Sheriffs Department for helping with traffic control while we dealt with a dump truck malfunction today. Situations like this are completely out of our control, and we appreciate helping keep the area safe.

Also, thank you to those who understood the situation, showed some patience, and slowed down while passing through while we waited for the deputies to arrive.

Friendly reminder: the world is not ending because you had to slow down for 30 seconds. The people working roadside are human beings too, just trying to do their jobs and get home safely. 👍🏼
