Look what we finally got in the mail. Our 6 plaques came in for this year’s Community Choice Awards The Best of Fond du Lac, and boy do they look great! These awards all start with our amazing customers, our community. From initially trusting in us with your home, to all of your nominations and your votes, that’s truly how we get here. Our crew is working hard attacking all of the details on this LP smart siding project. From our window and door trims that we all pre build and install as one piece, to the drip flashings installed and taped above every window/door and every piece of trim. We have been having issues with our phones for over the past week and our phone line has been completely down the past 3 days. Our team has been busy getting all of the old fiber cement siding and pvc trim removed and the substrate all prepped for the new LP Smart Siding and Trim. This is the behind the scene action that no one besides for us sees, but everyone sees it in the finished results. Everything from pre planning and prepping, to repairing and replacing the rotten walls and damaged insulation. Poor quality and poor installation of the fiber cement siding allowed excessive water to get behind the v***r barrier and destroy the sheeting. This customer contacted us with a need for an emergency tub/shower surround replacement in one of their rental properties. As soon as she said the tenant put their foot through the fiberglass tub I knew right away that the old tub was never properly installed or supported from below. After our team of experts got the old shower and tub cut out, to no surprise there was minimal support added below the tub by only a couple of pieces of OSB allowing for zero support on the sides of the tub exactly where it cracked. After properly assessing the damage and removing the old and wet insulation, our experts got all new rockwool insulation and new v***r barrier installed before installing a brand new sterling tub/shower surround before getting all of the plumbing hooked back up. We also completed all of the drywall work and matched the existing texture before priming and painting for a seamless transition.

This repeat customer contacted us to take a look at their roof after they noticed some rotten boards from underneath the exposed soffit area on their garage. After a thorough inspection we found that the roof was leaking through and caused the rafter tails to completely rot out. We discussed multiple options for replacement and decided on the best option to move forward. Our team of experts came in and got the old roof removed, pealed back all of the plywood in order to properly replace the rafter, and got that replaced before sealing it all back up and getting the brand new roof installed. We also needed to replace some of the rotten fascia boards and prime/paint everything we replaced to match back to the original colors.
