We're excited to share a recent project that took a well pad with outdated equipment to a fully commissioned and up-to-date operation – in approximately 35 days! 🔥

Automation-X recently completed a start-to-finish upgrade for a customer in the Northeast. Their existing panels and legacy equipment were no longer meeting operational needs, so our team delivered a complete replacement designed around the customer’s requirements.

The project included:
• Decommissioning the existing panels and equipment
• Installing and wiring new panels featuring the ABB XIO platform
• Implementing an OleumTech wireless system
• Programming every XIO device and configuring PCCU
• Building a customized IDEC HMI interface around the customer’s operational needs
• Completing a point-to-point walkthrough and comprehensive safety checks
• Bringing the customer’s wells back online

And our work didn’t end at startup. We provided hands-on training across the new devices, software, and equipment so the customer’s team could operate the system safely and confidently!

Now, three months after commissioning, the system continues to operate reliably with no reported issues and our team remains engaged through consistent follow-up and support.

This project reflects what Automation-X delivers: complete solutions, detailed ex*****on, customer-focused training, and support from our team and our partners that continues long after commissioning!

With more than 20 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, and logistics management, David brings a strong record of leading high-performing teams and improving operations, including previous leadership experience within The Home Depot’s supply chain network.

Based at our Floresville facility, David lives in San Antonio with his family. A proud husband and father of four, he credits his family’s support as a constant source of motivation both personally and professionally.
