The photos from this recent service call show the aftermath of a failed outlet connection…

The receptacle and wiring suffered extensive heat damage, with evidence of burning both inside the electrical box (outside of the home) AND around the outlets itself (on the inside of the home)

So picture this…

Mom wakes up Sunday morning with big plans….coffee, peace, and maybe just one uninterrupted hour of silence (a girl can dream right?!). ☕😌

She walks into the kitchen and flicks the light switch…nothing!
She tries again. Still nothing!
Dad says, “Oh it’s fine, just keep trying it.” (It was NOT fine.)
