Most vertical be**er assemblies look similar from a distance.

The difference shows up when they GO TO WORK.

The first image shows a soil clod being struck by a Terrakat® flail paddle. Instead of simply throwing the material out the back, the swinging paddle delivers impact energy that helps pulverize clods, frozen chunks, and tough material into smaller particles for a more consistent spread pattern - and more importantly - quicker breakdown into the soil for faster nutrient utilization!

The second image shows something else that every farmer has dealt with at one time or another—a rock.

When a solid object contacts a traditional auger-style vertical be**er, something has to give. Too often that means bent metal, broken components, damaged driveline parts, or even gearbox failures.

With the Terrakat® Be**er Assembly, the flail paddles are designed to swing and give way when they encounter hard objects. The rock passes through. The paddle survives. The machine keeps working.
