Project Spotlight | Powers Health Stroke & Rehabilitation Center

The Pangere Corporation recently completed an MRI suite renovation at the Powers Health Stroke & Rehabilitation Center.

Completed in three phases, the project included a new MRI scan room, control room, equipment room, supporting spaces, and extensive structural and mechanical upgrades.

One of the biggest challenges was completing construction while keeping the adjacent MRI fully operational. Through careful planning and coordination with hospital staff, our team successfully completed the renovation while minimizing disruptions to ongoing patient care.

We're proud to continue our longstanding relationship with Powers Health and support the facilities that serve our community.

As an Administrative Assistant at Pangere, she supports project managers with contracts, compliance, and documentation while assisting with fleet management. In her free time, she enjoys sewing and spending time going to races.

The Pangere Corporation is proud to serve as the Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) for the development of Purdue University Northwest’s Roberts Impact Lab in Hammond, Indiana. Designed by Shive-Hattery Architecture + Engineering, the facility will serve as a regional hub for innovation, research, and business growth, supporting advancements in quantum technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing, and workforce development.

As the Construction Manager, Pangere is overseeing the project through multiple phases and coordinating the work required to bring the vision for the Roberts Impact Lab to life. Phase 1 encompasses approximately 6,500 square feet, with Phase 2 expanding the renovation by approximately 19,500 square feet. Pangere is helping transform the existing facility into modern research, laboratory, collaboration, and educational spaces designed to connect PNW students and faculty with industry and emerging technologies.

The architectural renderings by Shive-Hattery provide a look at the vision for the completed space, while Pangere continues to manage the construction and transformation of the facility from concept to completion.

Once complete, the Roberts Impact Lab will play an important role in Purdue Northwest’s growing research initiatives and Hammond’s developing innovation district, creating a collaborative environment for education, research, entrepreneurship, and economic development throughout Northwest Indiana.
