After three stages of work, the Quechee Gorge project is quickly approaching the finish line!

The H&B crew is working through the final touches as they prepare for demobilization and bring a final, successful season at the Gorge to a close. After almost two years of hard work in Oneida, NY, this crew is in the home stretch. With just a few weeks remaining, they’re making great progress toward project completion. Great work, Glenmore team!

Some incredible drone shots from overtop the I-87 southbound Thruway project over the Wallkill River. On this beautiful day, Burt Crane was placing the last of the steel to complete the mid-span of the 365-foot-long bridge deck. Great work by the entire H&B crew and our project partners as another major milestone comes together safely and successfully.

This crew has maintained focused, adaptable, and committed to meeting the aggressive schedule this project presents. Their teamwork & dedication have been instrumental in the success of hitting milestones early and is what will ultimately lead to the opening of this brand new bridge, in less than 90 days!

Year Two for the I-87 Bridges over the Wallkill River!

Girders from High Steel Structures LLC have officially arrived on site, and Burt Crane has begun er****on. It’s always exciting to watch these massive pieces of steel fly overhead as the new bridge begins to take shape.

Route 59 over Pasack Road in Spring Valley, NY - the bridge that disappeared in a day!

We have nicknamed this project the “90 Day Job” given the short turnaround from start to finish. The H&B crew demolished 43’ of bridge deck in one single day, and within just a couple weeks have already finished placing the steel girders for the new structure. We can’t wait to see the final result here in Rockland County!
