🐾 SUNDAY FUNDAY: WHEN EVERYONE THINKS THEY’RE AN INTERIOR DESIGNER…

Apparently, everyone in the Young household has been feeling inspired to decorate lately. The only problem? Not everyone has quite mastered the art of design! 🫣

Jil has her eye for beautiful spaces… and then there’s this little dachshund, who decided a room full of shredded paper was the look she was going for. 🐶

We appreciate creativity here at JYD, but we may need to have a little chat about material selection, ex*****on, and the importance of a good cleanup crew.

The verdict? We’ll leave the interior design to Jil and the paper shredding to… absolutely nobody.

Happy Sunday from the JYD crew! 🏡✨

We wrapped up some drywall repairs for a client and were waiting for the wallpaper to go up. In the meantime, our client wanted to make sure her guests knew the room was a work in progress… and who was responsible for it! 😆

So, what did she do? She made sure everyone knew 𝐉𝐢𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞!

We love a client who gives credit where credit is due! 💙
Don’t worry, the wall got its proper makeover, too.

THE POWDER ROOM REVEAL… AND THIS ONE WAS UNEXPECTED!

Remember that little sneak peek from yesterday? Well, the wait is over..! ✨💙

Who says a powder room has to be boring? We took this small space and gave it a BIG personality with bold botanical wallpaper, rich blue board and batten, dramatic blue-green granite, and gorgeous gold accents.

The mix of patterns, textures, and finishes brings this space to life in a way you might not expect from a little powder room!

Thank you to Southern Stone and Baker Pipe and Parts LLC for their part in making this transformation a reality!

🎥 Watch the video as Jil walks you through the finished space and shares the details that make this transformation so special.

At Jil Young Designs, we believe every space deserves thoughtful design, personality, and a little unexpected magic. Sometimes, the smallest rooms make the biggest statement!

👇 Tell us what you think! Would you go bold with wallpaper in your powder room?

👀 YOU WON’T BELIEVE THIS TRANSFORMATION! 👀

Today, we’re giving you a peek at the before of this powder room… plus a few little hints at what’s to come! ✨

Bold wallpaper, rich color, gorgeous gold accents… can you guess how it all comes together? 🤔

🌧️ Rainy Saturday? No problem!

This is what a Saturday workday looks like when the weather isn’t cooperating, but as you can see, we’re still smiling! 😁

Good food, good company, and good progress on the job site. That’s a pretty great way to spend a rainy Saturday!

Rain or shine, the JYD crew gets it done! 💪🏽🏡

Good work, great people, and a good food! 💙

Sometimes you gotta take the guys to Bo’s! 😉 And sometimes a dinner out at Longhorn turns into a brainstorming session for what’s next at JYD. One thing is for sure: good food and good company go hand in hand with a great team!

Fun fact: Jil’s team stretches far and wide, from the beaches of North Carolina all the way to Central Georgia! 🌊🍑 Even when we aren’t all in the same place, teamwork, collaboration, and a little fun keep us connected.

We’re grateful for a team that works hard, supports one another, shares ideas, and knows how to enjoy the moments in between.

And a special shoutout to Jil for treating the team and investing in the people who help make JYD what it is!

✨ From plain hallway to a space with personality!

Sometimes, it’s the little details that make the biggest difference. A bit of fresh board and batten adds texture, character, and a polished touch to an otherwise unexciting corridor. 🏡

And we’re not done yet! The families photos are being framed and will soon complete the look. Giving this space its own moment in the home.

Never underestimate the power of thoughtful design!

💃 BREAK TIME? MORE LIKE DANCE TIME! 🔨🎶

Jeff’s back on the job site, and Jil has decided there’s only one proper way to welcome him back… a WORKSITE DANCE PARTY! 😂

When Fox & Friends starts sharing segments about the fun and benefits of dancing at work, you know Jil is just doing her part to keep the team moving! 😉

Because around here, we believe in hard work, good people, and remembering to have a little fun along the way!

Now, the real question is… who’s ready to challenge Jil to a dance-off? 🕺💃
