Our 2026 National Solar Tour was a success! ☀️

This year, we welcomed over a dozen visitors to Belmont Solar founder Ben Zook's net-zero home in Lancaster County, making it our largest turnout yet!

Visitors had the opportunity to see firsthand how solar panels, battery backup, EV charging, and energy-efficient home features work together. It was a great opportunity to answer questions, share our experience, and show what solar energy can make possible for homeowners.

A custom solar solution in Toughkenamon, PA. Facing rising energy costs, this homeowner partnered with Belmont Solar to install a ground-mounted system designed to make the most of the property's limited space.

The result: a 24.08 kW grid-tied solar system with 56 all-black panels, two Fronius string inverters, and an estimated 27,000 kWh of annual energy production, more than triple the home’s previous energy usage.

Over the past 25 years, Belmont Solar has had the opportunity to work on all kinds of solar projects, including homes where the solar journey continues to grow over time.
For this West Chester homeowner, the goal was to build on an existing solar system by adding more panels and battery backup to help the home produce and store more of its own energy.

The result: a system designed around a bigger goal of reaching net zero, where the home can produce about as much energy as it uses. As we celebrate 25 years of Belmont Solar, we’re proud to look back on projects like this and the homeowners who have trusted us along the way.
