We're going to be saving this cage in Gulf breeze next week. I'll be plumbing the structure, swapping out several of the vertical uprights, adding K braces, new cables, bringing the anchor system up to code, and giving it a complete rescreen. A little bit of powder and a little bit of paint will make your girl pretty, even if she ain't 😂. The anchors were installed too tight by the original installer, causing a divot in the bottom track. Just another thing that other local companies don't think about. These divots can collect and hold water for days during the rainy season. The standing water progresses the speed of decay by years, and It also leaves a nasty stain that will never come off. This homeowner didn't want to replace the entire bottom track, and all the bottom screens attached to it, so I showed her a little trick I learned in nam. Now the new screws will be hidden from the rain, and so will those ugly rust stains.

My schedule is already filling up with storm shutter installs. If you have shutters, and the ability to have them installed, you may regret not doing it later this week. Once my schedule is full, it's full, so do not hesitate to get locked in ASAP. Don't worry about being home to pay me when I finish, that's not my concern right now.
