Need to change your air filter? Matthias from John Cipollone Inc. will walk you though the process of changing the filter in your AC system in this video.

You should change your air filter once every 1-3 months, depending on your home and how much you use your HVAC system. This video features an Aprilaire air filter, but they are all very similar.

You can also look at your owner's manual for the HVAC system which should be able to guide you in changing the filter. Another way to learn is by asking your HVAC technician how to do it during a routine service.

We were out in Ardmore last week and we got to bring out the crane! Not every home is a perfect fit for an HVAC unit to sit out back. In some cases, it's better for the unit to be placed on the roof, out of the way and leaving you with space around the outside of your home.

For these rooftop projects, we use a crane to lift the HVAC unit up, then install it up on the roof. Now this homeowner is going to have year round comfort, and I'm sure they are happy they did it right before the heat spell we had this week.

Big congratulations to our own Vincent Califano on an incredible accomplishment! 🎉

Vince has officially graduated from the PHCC Apprenticeship Program! Vince didn’t just finish, he stood out in a big way. He received 2 amazing awards:

🏆 Scholastic Achievement Award – Highest Overall GPA (3.95) over 4 years
🏆 HVAC Instructors Award – To the student who exemplifies great pride and dedication to the HVAC industry, both in the classroom and on the job.

We first met Vince at the Delaware County Technical School, where his work ethic was clear from day one. He joined us during his junior year, worked through the summer, and came back the following year. After graduating high school, Vince became a full time employee here at John Cipollone Inc.

Since then, Vince has continued to raise the bar, becoming the first apprentice we’ve ever sent through the PHCC program. Vince has now had his own installation truck for 2 years, and is developing into a top technician our team and customers rely on every day.

This didn’t happen by accident. Vince put in the time, the effort, and showed from the beginning that he wanted to be one of the best, and he’s proving it.
