Ocean freight conditions for India-origin FIBCs have deteriorated significantly, with signifigantly reduced vessel capacity, blank sailings, rising freight costs, and increasingly unpredictable shipping schedules affecting the India-to-U.S. trade lane.
The current capacity situation is among the most severe and unpredictable ocean freight environments we have experienced. At this time, the primary concern is no longer freight cost alone, but continuity of supply.
We strongly encourage customers to review current inventory levels, identify critical delivery dates, consider alternate FlexSack stock items or similar bag specifications, and establish a contingency plan rather than relying on historical lead times or projected vessel schedules.
