These are perforated aluminum baskets, not a type of fancy cheese. (Though if you squint long enough, your brain might start suggesting crackers).

You cannot, however, leave your safety rails, machine guards, and bollards behind. That's not a song lyric…that's an OSHA citation.

Old staircases were built by people who apparently had no fear of heights, darkness, or liability.

🌀 Spiral stone steps with no railing.
🪵 Exterior wooden stairs that flex when you breathe on them.
🕳 Basement stairs so steep they're basically a controlled fall with extra steps.

Somewhere along the way, we decided stairs should be… less adventurous.

Try doing a Google search for "giant copper hood, hand-riveted, looks incredible as a piece of living room furniture" and see what comes up.

(Or maybe don't. The internet is a weird place.)

You won't find this one online because it didn't exist until we built it. Our team rolled, riveted, and shaped it by hand from raw copper sheet.

It's the kind of project that reminds us why we got into this work in the first place.

The Indy 500 is this weekend. Those cars hit 230 mph…maybe not the best time to be second-guessing your material choice.

Modern Indy cars rely heavily on carbon fiber because it delivers something engineers are always chasing: exceptional strength without the weight. Carbon fiber structures can be stronger than steel while weighing far less, and they’re engineered to absorb massive crash forces while protecting the driver.

Carbon fiber is also used across aerospace, medical, and industrial applications because it offers:

✔️ High strength at extremely low weight
✔️ Excellent fatigue resistance under repeated loads
✔️ Low thermal expansion, which helps parts hold tight tolerances
✔️ Natural vibration damping for quieter, smoother operation

You probably don't need your parts to survive a turn at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (though we’re here for it if you do). But if your application calls for high strength with much less weight than aluminum or steel, carbon fiber might be worth a conversation.

We're one of the few fabricators in New Hampshire with full carbon fiber capabilities. We make our own molds, which gives us complete control over design, testing, and the final product.

You don't build a great room so you can chop it up with a traditional staircase and all the framing that comes with it. That's like buying a convertible and never putting the top down.

Steel monostairs solve that problem. They use a single central stringer to minimize the visual footprint and keep the room as open as the architect intended.

Heavy plate and structural weldments are the “we’re gonna need a bigger boat” of metal fabrication.

These aren’t parts you carry to the truck with two hands and a decent grip. They’re multi-ton assemblies that require real infrastructure to build right.

Here’s what it actually takes:

→ Cranes and forklifts to move assemblies safely
→ Acorn tables to hold everything square under welding heat
→ CNC plasma cutting for steel plate up to 1¼" thick
→ Jigs and fixtures to lock alignment before welding
→ A dedicated welder on the project from start to finish

We also do a partial assembly before anything leaves the building, because when something weighs a few thousand pounds, “we’ll figure it out on-site” is not a plan.

It's National Dance Like a Chicken Day, which means somewhere tonight, someone is going to do exactly that at a bar and pretend like it never happened in the morning.

The bar top, on the other hand, will remember everything. This custom stainless steel top was fabricated and installed by our team for a new restaurant build. It's durable, corrosion resistant, easy to clean, and built to handle far worse than the chicken dance. 🐔
