Twice a year, we open our doors to walk ExxonMobil's crews through the procedures and tools essential for managing critical well control and intervention scenarios. We recently wrapped up the second Well Control and Well Intervention Training Day of 2026 at our global headquarters in Hockley, Texas.

A huge thank you to our RPC, Inc. sister companies who joined forces to make this an engaging and educational showcase, with teams from:

Cudd Well Control, Cudd Pressure Control, Thru Tubing Solutions, Patterson Services (PRIME), Cudd Energy Services, Spinnaker Cementing Solutions, and Well Control School.

A massive shout-out to the Thru Tubing Solutions team for firing up the grill and cooking a full steak lunch spread for the entire class! It was the perfect way to fuel a day of hard work and collaboration.

8 cities. 4,212 miles. One mission: Well Control Readiness.

Our Cudd Well Control crew spent several weeks hosting lunch and learns across Ohio and Pennsylvania on well control intervention, emergency response, and well control training capabilities, reaching over 390 attendees among customers, local first responders, and state regulatory entities.

Every stop meant setting up equipment, delivering the session, breaking it all down, and driving to the next location, then doing it again.

Preparedness is a team effort. Thank you to our sister companies, Well Control School and CUDD Pressure Control, for your contributions in making this a huge success.

When a well control event happens, every person on location has a role to play. A Crew Gap Assessment evaluates whether each member of your crew, from floor hand to company man, actually knows what that role requires. The question is whether you find the gaps during a structured assessment or during an actual incident.

The assessment evaluates practical, operational knowledge, the kind that determines how a crew performs under pressure, not how they perform on a multiple-choice exam.
