Industry Voices Come Together at SEG Solar Factory Opening

On August 7, SEG Solar proudly celebrated the opening of its second U.S. manufacturing facility in Tomball, Texas, bringing together leaders from across the solar industry, economic development organizations, workforce agencies, certification bodies, media and the broader business community.

Throughout the event, speakers highlighted a shared vision for the future of American solar manufacturing: strengthening domestic supply chains, expanding workforce development opportunities, advancing quality and transparency, and accelerating investment in U.S. clean energy production.

With Factory 2, SEG’s total manufacturing capacity will reach 6 GW, further reinforcing our position as a trusted, FEOC-compliant manufacturing partner for the U.S. solar industry. Looking ahead, we remain committed to expanding domestic manufacturing, investing in local communities, and building a vertically integrated global supply chain that supports long-term growth.

On August 7, we officially opened the doors to SEGSolar Factory2 -and theenergy was unforgettable.
Over 800guests joined us in Tomball, Texas: government officials, industryleaders, partners, investors, and the SEG Solar team. Together, we witnessedwhat happens when vision meets ex*****on.
Factory2 is more than steel and solar panels. It's a $200M+ commitment to U.S.manufacturing. It's 800 new jobs for the Houston community. It's 4GW ofadditional capacity -bringing SEG Solar's total U.S. footprint to 6GW. But whattruly sets this apart is what comes next. Factory3 is already under construction,expected online by May2027.
When others were still debating whether American solar manufacturing waspossible, SEG Solar built two factories. When the industry talks about supplychain security, we're delivering it - with full traceability, third-party validation,and a commitment to quality that partners can bank on.
