BSA recently supported a contractor during the installation of a new CNC machine measuring nearly 60 feet in length.

The machine manufacturer designed a specialized anchoring system that required grout pockets to be filled after installation to provide both structural support and secure anchoring. FasTrac CE 815 was selected for the application to ensure a durable, high-performance foundation solution.

To help maintain the project’s accelerated schedule, the contractor utilized BSA’s grout pumping equipment to streamline the installation process. In total, 88 anchor bolt pockets were successfully filled on the machine installation.

The flexibility of BSA’s foundation solutions was put to the test on a recent project at an R&D center in upstate New York.

With extremely narrow clearances and a complex installation environment, the project required both precision and adaptability. BSA recently partnered with an end user and contractor to support the grouting of two new gas compressor skids, helping keep the project efficient and on schedule from foundation prep through final grout installation.

Our team supplied the anchor bolts for the new foundations and provided detailed expansion joint drawings and materials once the foundations were cured. Proper expansion joint placement played a key role in facilitating the epoxy grout pumping process and ensuring full support beneath the equipment compartments.

BSA also provided pumping services for the installation of Chockfast Red Versaflow. Thanks to the site configuration, our team was able to position the pump between both skids and grout the entire installation without relocating equipment or interrupting mixing operations. This efficient setup allowed both skids to be completed in a single day.

BSA recently had the opportunity to install two Lincoln Centro-Matic Grease Systems for the new sector gates at the Neches River Saltwater Barrier.

These gates cycle open and closed multiple times a day to accommodate vessel traffic. With the new system in place, a precise amount of grease is automatically applied to critical hinge points during each cycle which ensures consistent, reliable lubrication.

What was once a manual, time-dependent process is now fully automated and integrated with the facility’s PLC for continuous monitoring. The result is improved efficiency, reduced maintenance demands, and long-term protection of critical infrastructure.
