We've been building high-pressure confidence for more than 30 years. The hose type 8/6 is one of our ORIGINAL hose types and in all the time we've been manufacturing and introducing all types of new hose, it is STILL a go-to for many of our customers because of it's dependability and versatility. With an 8mm (5/16”) ID and working pressure of 30,450 psi, the 8/6 is used in several applications such as high-pressure WATER BLASTING, AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURING processes, and very commonly in HIGH PRESSURE TESTING applications.
For an 8mm hose with a working pressure over 30,000 psi it is lightweight at .429 lbs./ft and flexible with a minimum bend radius of less than ten inches. Common end fittings used for 8/6 assemblies are the Type M female and high-pressure male tube ni**le, but other fittings such as metric male and female options are available as well.

Many people know us for our superior hose products, but we also have huge in-stock selection of needle, ball, and check valves with working pressures up to 100,000 psi as well as air actuated, relief, double block and bleed and non-standard valves. Today, it's all about actuated valves.

Actuated valves are widely used for safety and convenience across various industries and applications, and SPIR STAR actuated valves are frequently chosen due to their availability and reliability. We offer actuated options for all our needle and ball valves within the working pressure range of 15,000 psi to 60,000 psi, with reasonable lead times if they are not already in stock. While pneumatic actuators are the most common, we also provide electric actuators upon request.

Since releasing our newest UHP hose type, the 8MMUHP-X-3800 earlier this year the interest and demand have been awesome for which we are grateful. The 8MMUHP-X-3800 is an 8mm ID hose with a working pressure of 55,000 psi, almost exclusively used in the ultra-high pressure surface preparation market such as vessel and tank cleaning, materials removal, etc. In a short time we have supplied thousands of feet of this hose type with great performance feedback. As can be the case with new hose development, it took us awhile to release a product we were satisfied with but it has proven to be a quality product to a market that was needing it.

Shown here is part of twenty (20) 8MMUHP-X-3800 assemblies, 50FT long with 7/8” type m female ends that we recently built for a rush requirement. The call for the need for these assemblies came in during the start of the workday and they were built, tested, and shipped later that same evening.

We heavily promote our experience in developing, manufacturing, assembling, and crimping high pressure hose as well as our inventory levels and the commitment to customer service that we have built our business on. We heavily promote those things because they are truly what we strive for and continually discuss internally. We try to keep it as simple as possible, make a great product, don’t keep the customer waiting, and treat the customer like they are the most important part of our business. High-pressure water blasting is certainly one of the most demanding of all the industries we serve given the frequent short lead time requirements, and the overall harsh environment that our hose products are subjected to because of the applications in which they are used.

The hose type 5MMUHPX shown here, is a 5mm (3/16”) ID hose with a working pressure of 58,000 psi. Those that are not familiar with the world of extreme high pressure hose and related fluid control components are often amazed that there is a need for such extreme pressures.

Commonly referred to as twin line hose such as shown here, twin line assemblies are two independent hoses, bonded together at the time of manufacture to create a single hose.

Shown here is the very popular 6/2WL Twinline which is a 1/4" ID hose with a working pressure of 17,000 psi. Twinline hose is typically manufactured with the two hoses being different in color to help identify each independent path of flow, such as a supply line and a return line.

Almost 4,000 feet and 100 assemblies of the 6/4 are underway and finishing up soon. The hose type 6/4 is a 1/4" ID hose with a working pressure of 20,000 psi, used in multiple high pressure applications across several industries.

It offers key performance advantages making it ideal for demanding environments:
• low volumetric expansion
• high flexibility
• reduced overall weight

This hose type is produced in some variation almost daily. The assemblies shown here have been used for many years by an oil and gas customer for a specific equipment testing application. The assemblies are assembled and crimped with an application specific female swivel end fitting, and as you can see, stainless steel containment grips are installed as an additional safety measure based on the manner in which the assemblies are used in the application.
