We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Brett Fontenot to Senior Director of Operations!

Brett is a proven leader whose dedication to safety and client success has shaped SMS for nearly two decades. He joined us 18 years ago as a frontline HSE consultant, building deep industry relationships from day one.

Most recently, Brett took on the challenge of streamlining our operations. By bringing medical services, safety, professional services, and Liberty Energy Services together, he successfully transformed SMS into a unified, cross-functional team.

"Brett’s promotion is a testament to his unwavering dedication to SMS and our clients over the past 18 years," says Scott Domingue, President of SMS. Welding Inspector Mickey Beverly has earned recognition as the latest Liberty Energy Services Standout. Mickey was nominated by Operations Supervisor Cody Kabzinski.

Mickey is being recognized for having passion for his work, integrity in everything he does, valuing people, owning it everyday, and being a team player.

Mickey has been with LES for almost three and a half years. In that time, he has always exceeded his project teams’ and leadership teams’ expectations. He is a true subject matter expert at his craft and knows how to get it done daily.

“I wanted to take a moment to recognize Mickey for all that he does and for the value he adds to the Liberty family,” said Cody. “We’re truly appreciative of you, brother.”

Acadian Companies is launching a special campaign commemorating the 250th anniversary of America’s founding and the 55th anniversary of Acadian’s founding.

We've developed a special edition ambulance design, inspired by a similar effort Acadian Ambulance made for America’s Bicentennial in 1976, and a lapel pin distributed to our more than 6,000 team members.

“We thought this was a unique way to commemorate both the founding of our country and the founding of our company,” said Acadian Companies Chief Executive Officer H. Eddy Dupuis. “In many ways, the Acadian story embodies the ideals and hopes of our nation’s founding fathers. It’s a story of three young entrepreneurs who took a risk in 1971 and launched an ambulance service centered on helping others and serving a greater purpose.”

Safety Manager Benjy Gallagher has earned recognition as the latest LES Standout.

He was nominated by Operations Supervisor Cody Kabzinski for having passion for his work, integrity in everything he does, valuing people, owning it everyday, and being a team player.

Benjy is as solid as they come in his field. He exceeds expectations time and time again on any project he is a part of, no matter where he goes. He brings a wealth of knowledge and years of experience with him. He’s a team player who gets it done without complaint, adding value to not only his projects, but to his project team as well. We can’t express enough how glad we are that he is a part of the LES family.
