Three buildings. One connected vision. Another Texas campus taking shape. 🏗️🐯

Dally + Associates joined Texas Southern University to break ground on three new interconnected facilities:

🔹 The Catalyst for Urban Transformation
🔹 The Nabrit Science Center
🔹 The Health and Wellness Center

Dally is providing structural engineering for all three facilities, working alongside Moody Nolan as architect and Tellepsen as general contractor to bring this major addition to the TSU campus to life.

This project adds another chapter to Dally’s growing higher education portfolio across Texas — helping build the spaces where the next generation will learn, discover, connect, and grow.

When the architectural vision called for a column-free corner and long cantilevers on the floors above, our team developed a post-tensioned beam solution designed to meet strict vibration and performance requirements while preserving the design intent.

🎉 Another incredible milestone with Lamar CISD! 🎉

The ribbon has officially been cut on the new Lamar CISD Career & Technical Education (CTE) Building, an impressive 236,000-square-foot facility that will inspire and prepare the next generation of skilled professionals.

Dally + Associates provided structural engineering for this outstanding project, collaborating with Stantec and Durotech to help bring this vision to life. It's another exciting chapter in our continued partnership with Lamar CISD and a testament to what great teams can accomplish together.

Week 3 of Behind the Beams takes us to the Texas A&M Meat Sciences & Technology Center, where innovation extended far beyond the building itself. Our structural team engineered a custom steel bracket solution that allowed the facility's post-installed meat rail system to be suspended from the precast double-tee roof—eliminating the risk of damaging prestressed tendons while maintaining the integrity of the structure.

Every great building has challenges. This is how we solve them.
