Please help a disabled Veteran and his family get back on their feet!!

We are reaching out on behalf of a disabled veteran who has fallen on difficult times. Despite his determination to provide for his family, he is currently unemployed and facing significant financial hardship.

He has been offered an employment opportunity with a shipping company, but the position requires him to make a 450-mile journey that he simply cannot afford at this time. Without the means to travel and get established, this opportunity may slip away.

His wife and their two children are struggling as the family works to keep food on the table, maintain essential utilities, and make ends meet during this challenging period.

We are asking for help from anyone who is willing and able to contribute. No donation is too small. Every dollar will go toward helping this veteran secure employment, support his family, and regain financial stability.

If you are unable to donate, sharing this message with others would be greatly appreciated and can make a meaningful difference.

Last week, we had the opportunity to bless another local business right here in Howell. From the moment we walked in, the team at Titan Plumbing Group was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly.

We even got the chance to chat with them for a few minutes, and it reminded us just how special our local community is. There are so many hardworking people behind the businesses we visit every day, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to spread a little sweetness and brighten someone’s day.

THE RING HAS MADE ITS WAY HOME 🙌🎉 What started as a routine plumbing job turned into something pretty special.

A while back, our team found a wedding ring during a plumbing project. We knew it had to belong to someone, so we shared the story and hoped we could track down the owner.

Turns out, the ring belonged to Carol Oram, who lost it more than 10 years ago at Fountain of Youth. She and her husband Roger have been married for over 60 years, and after all this time, she never expected to see that ring again.

Sue from Fountain of Youth saw our post and connected the dots. After a few phone calls and some help from WHMI, we were able to arrange a meeting and finally return the ring to Carol.

Today, we met at WHMI for an interview, then stopped by The Gold Depot, where Kevin confirmed the ring was Carol’s and gave it a professional cleaning. The funny part? We all thought it was yellow gold from years of buildup, but once it was cleaned, it turned out to be white gold.

Seeing Carol reunited with her wedding ring after more than a decade was a moment none of us will forget.

A big thank you to Sue at Fountain of Youth, Kevin at The Gold Depot, and WHMI for helping make it happen. It’s not every day you get to be part of a story like this.

We had a great time this week at ABC Greater Michigan Chapter’s Business Over Breakfast. Thank you for inviting us out and giving us the chance to tour Southeast Michigan Construction Academy’s new school.

The classrooms were beautiful, the shop spaces were impressive, and you can tell a lot of thought went into creating a space where students can learn and succeed. It’s exciting to see organizations investing in the future of the trades and helping more people discover rewarding career opportunities.

Thanks again for having us—we enjoyed the tour and loved seeing firsthand the work being done to support the next generation of skilled trades professionals.
