September is National Insider Threat Awareness Month (NITAM). 🔎

Today, we’re proud to spotlight Maela Gibbs, Assistant Facility Security Officer at MAC3 Defense. 🌟🎉

As an AFSO, Maela supports important day-to-day security operations and helps keep cleared contractor security programs organized, compliant, and mission-ready.

When asked what she enjoys about working at MAC3 Defense, Maela shared that she appreciates being part of a supportive and friendly team, as well as the continuous opportunities to learn, improve, and grow professionally. As a mom to a young child, she is also grateful for the accommodating and understanding leadership team at MAC3.

Outside of work, Maela enjoys embroidery and needlepoint, crafting, thrifting, and shopping. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
