This work is underway at the 511 Capitol Building Stabilization Project, where crews are making progress along the west face of the Johnson County Sheriff and Jail building.

Demolition and replacement of portions of the masonry fascia are in progress, along with new steel assemblies, structural pin installation, and re-insulation. Crews were also lifting multiple rooftop units into place, marking another key step forward on the project.

A new chapter is underway for the historic Iowa River Power building 👏

A recent article highlights the effort to bring this Coralville landmark back to life, and we’re proud to play a role in its transformation. Our team is helping turn the site into a modern destination while preserving its rich history.

As of now, the Coralville building plans to have a restaurant and bar, coffee shop and bakery, a cigar and cocktail lounge, event space and a rooftop deck. The hope is for a soft opening in 2027.

The American Heart Association Iowa Corridor Heart Walk brought the Iowa City community together last week at Kinnick Stadium. The 5k honors the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital and is in association with the Corridor Corporate Games.

We hosted our first ImpactLife Blood drive of the summer yesterday. As a part of the Corridor Corporate Games, this is one of the two drives we're hosting to support our community. Giving back like this is one way we live out our value of —showing up for the people and communities we serve.
