We’re joking. Mostly. The cord thing is real. 😅

If your Hydra won’t power on, run this checklist before you call or submit a ticket:

🔴 Twist the power cord to lock it. This is the one that gets people. The Hydra uses a locking connector. Push it in, then rotate until it seats. If it’s just pushed in, it looks plugged in but isn’t making full contact.

🔴 Pop out the Emergency Stop. Twist it clockwise until it springs back up. A pressed E Stop kills power to everything, and the machine will look completely dead.

🔴 Check the rear power switch. Flip it to ON. Easy to miss after moving the machine or reorganizing your space.

🔴 Test the outlet. Plug in something else. Tripped breakers and dead surge protectors account for more “broken machine” tickets than actual broken machines.

🔴 Skip the wall outlet daisy chain. Plug straight into the wall when you can. Cheap power strips are a common culprit.

Still nothing after all five? Now call us. Our team will take it from there, and no chanting required.

We see this one more than you’d think, so here’s the PSA: 📣

🔴 Buy parts from the source. Filters, lenses, tubes, and beds are all sold through our official website or an authorized dealer. That’s it. If it’s a Venmo to a stranger in a Facebook group, it’s not us.

🔴 “Prototype” is a red flag, not a feature. We don’t sell prototypes. Anyone claiming to have one is selling you a garage build.

🔴 Aftermarket parts can void your warranty. Wrong fit means wrong airflow, wrong alignment, and a machine that stops performing the way it should. Then the repair bill is on you.

🔴 Fan groups are great. They’re just not a store. We love the community. Nobody in it is authorized to sell you hardware.

If you’re ever unsure whether a part or seller is legit, message us. Our team will check it for you before you spend a dollar ✅

One sheet of plywood. One file. One very questionable Friday night.

Every ring is sized to the glass so nothing slides, the rules are engraved right into the board so nobody argues, and there is an Easter egg burned in for whoever finds it. All of it done on the Hydra Gen 2, no sanding, no stencils, no cleanup.

This is the kind of thing that sells itself at a party. Make one, bring it once, and you will be making five more.

We get asked all the time what you can actually put in a laser 😅

Ok to use: wood, acrylic, leather, cardboard, paper, plywood, and most natural fabrics.

Toxic, avoid at all costs: PVC, vinyl, and anything containing chlorine. These release chlorine gas when cut, which is bad for your lungs and eats away at your machine over time.

Also skip: ABS in large batches, polycarbonate, fiberglass, and coated or treated metals.
