During the event, the team discussed the importance of maintaining safe behaviors on every task, every day. It was emphasized that consistently following safe work practices and looking out for one another are key factors in ensuring the project is completed successfully and injury free.

Proud to again partner with AEO on an important supply chain project.

While we've done a lot of greenfield work together, adding automation and other modernization improvements into existing space has a different set of challenges where our design and construction teams can provide great value. We are honored to announce that H&M has once again achieved the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) STEP Diamond Award, marking our second consecutive year earning this prestigious recognition for safety excellence.

The ABC Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) is one of the construction industry's premier safety benchmarking programs, evaluating a company's leadership commitment, employee involvement, training programs, hazard prevention efforts, and overall safety performance. Achieving the Diamond level demonstrates a world-class safety management system and a culture where safety is a core value, not just a priority.

This accomplishment reflects the dedication of every H&M employee, from our field personnel and self-perform crews to our project teams, supervisors, managers, and support staff. It is a testament to the daily commitment of our workforce to planning work safely, identifying and controlling hazards, participating in training, and looking out for one another. What makes this achievement especially meaningful is that it encompasses the performance of all H&M self-perform operations.

A safety celebration was held at the Fellowship Bible Church jobsite.

General safety was discussed underling the importance of keeping safety a priority daily so everyone goes home injury free at the end of the day.

Randy Pierson, Executive Pastor of Operations, spoke and gave a big thank you on behalf of the church and everyone involved in bringing this project to life.

H&M would like to thank all the workers, subcontractors, and vendors for your commitment to safety while completing all the project's major milestones to date. We also appreciate everyone who donated door prizes.

H&M August 2026 Industrial Brief

In a process-driven plant, the foundation is not what holds up the building. It is part of the machine.

That distinction sounds academic until something goes wrong. Vibration climbs past safe limits. Equipment falls out of alignment.
