We were proud to have two Summers-Taylor teams compete in the Honor Flight of the Appalachian Highlands Dragon Boat Race, and we’re excited to bring home 1st Place! 🏆 Great team efforts!

A huge thank you to Honor Flight of the Appalachian Highlands for putting on such an incredible event and allowing us to be a small part of such a meaningful mission. Most of all, thank you to our veterans. It was an honor to paddle for those who have given so much for our country.

We’d also like to thank Dynamic Dragon Boat Racing and Penny for bringing the boats and providing such amazing coaching!

We're proud to have Nic as part of the Summers-Taylor team this summer. His willingness to jump in, learn something new, and bring a great attitude every day is exactly what makes a great intern.

Thank you to ETSU College of Arts & Sciences for recognizing Nic's hard work, and congratulations on this well-deserved honor! We appreciate the opportunity to partner with ETSU and help provide students with real-world, hands-on experience.

🎉 Join us in celebrating National Intern Day!

The College of Arts and Sciences is proud to recognize Nic Thomas, a student in our Department of Engineering, Engineering Technology, Interior Architecture, and Surveying, for his outstanding internship with Summers Taylor.

Nic's supervisor nominated him for this recognition after highlighting his willingness to embrace new challenges and his exceptional work ethic. Although Nic initially hoped to work in estimating and engineering, he stepped into a field operations role where he quickly learned new skills, gained experience operating heavy equipment, and became a valued member of the crew. His supervisor shared that Nic has consistently demonstrated a positive attitude, adapted quickly, and earned high praise from his foreman for his dedication and eagerness to learn.

Congratulations, Nic, on representing his Department and the College of Arts and Sciences so well! We also extend our sincere thanks to Summers Taylor for providing valuable hands-on learning opportunities for our students.
