Standing beside the Squirrel in Oak courtyard gate 23 years after I created it.

This hand-forged wrought iron piece still stands strong outside of Dubuque, Iowa, and I’m grateful to see the owners continue to enjoy it.

It’s a privilege to create work that becomes part of a place’s story for generations.

The final patina is applied using acids and a torch to create beautiful colors, then sealed with heat and wax.
