✈️🤖 Two weeks of Young Explorers. Two exciting challenges. Countless opportunities to learn, create, and explore!
Our Young Explorers campers spent the past two weeks putting their creativity, engineering skills, and problem solving abilities to the test during Air Rescue and Robo Rescue camps!
During Air Rescue, 15 young engineers took on the role of airport engineers after severe weather impacted "Smart Airport." Campers designed and built their own airport systems, explored how weather affects aviation, programmed Ari Ozobots, used LEGO SPIKE technology and augmented reality, and tackled transportation and rescue challenges. ✈️🌩️
Then, during Robo Rescue, 17 young engineers turned their attention to the future of smart communities! Campers designed their own smart cities and used LEGO SPIKE, Ari Ozobots, Merge Cubes, and 3D printed creations to tackle real world challenges. From rescuing pets to finding ways to make their communities safer and smarter, campers explored how robotics and technology can be used to solve problems, and wrapped up the week by showcasing their smart cities! 🏙️🤖
Across both weeks, our young explorers learned that engineering is about more than just building. It's about asking questions, working together, testing ideas, solving problems, and finding creative solutions. 💡
We loved watching these future engineers, aviators, and innovators learn, create, and challenge themselves over the past two weeks! 💙✈️🤖
