Big news for OceanaGold! 🌏

OceanaGold has entered into an agreement to acquire Ausgold Limited and its Katanning Gold Project in Western Australia — adding another exciting growth opportunity to our global portfolio.

With operations spanning the United States, New Zealand and the Philippines, the addition of Katanning represents another step forward for OceanaGold, with the potential to produce 100,000+ ounces of gold annually and first gold targeted for 2029.

It’s an exciting time to be part of OceanaGold — and we’re proud of the role Haile Gold Mine plays in the strength and growth of our global company. 💪⛏️

🏫✨ Kershaw, we’re getting close!

The Haile Gold Mine Schoolhouse is getting closer to its comeback — and it’s looking so good! 👀

🚜 Grading & landscaping are underway
💧 New drainage system is installed
🎨 Interior painting is complete
🎨 Exterior painting is complete
🪵 And the original wood floors have been beautifully refinished.

And those floors… just wait until you see them. 👀

This project has been years in the making, and we’re finally nearing the finish line. We know the community has been watching all the work, and we’re just as excited as you are to see the finished schoolhouse come to life.

We’re also getting closer to announcing our annual Haile Gold Mine Open House, which we rescheduled from May at the Haile Gold Mine Depot so we can celebrate this milestone inside the newly renovated schoolhouse.

When the doors open, you’ll be able to explore this beautiful piece of Kershaw history, meet Haile Gold Mine experts, ask questions about our operation and enjoy a building with memories in every square foot.

This isn’t just a renovation. It’s an investment in the future of a building where so many of you made cherished memories.

The schoolhouse will have a new life for meetings, events and office space for Haile — and when our mining operations eventually come to an end, we’ll be proud to leave it in the hands of the Kershaw community.

A lot of history. A lot of memories. A lot more to come.
