Not a bad way to spend a Sunday. ⛳🌽

The week kicked off with a day of golf, co****le, and great company at TSPMA’s Summer Conference.

From the golf course at Bent Creek to our co****le tournament later that evening, it was a day filled with friendly competition, great conversations, and plenty of fun.

And yes, those customs co****le boards? The winners got to take them home. 👏

A little competition, a lot of laughs, and a great way to start the week.

This is the kind of place that makes you slow down. ✨

What used to be a simple pass-through in downtown Maryville now feels like a place people will want to walk through, gather in, and experience.

With glowing string lights overhead, refreshed landscaping, upgraded walkways, and improved accessibility throughout, the Cedar Springs Alley Improvements project completely changed the atmosphere of the space.

It’s the kind of spot that makes you slow down for a minute.

Supporting the physical fitness of our military members 🏀🏓

Our latest project is for the Training and Education Center (TEC) at the McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base.

We’ve already completed major site prep for the new fitness spaces, including leveling key areas, installing storm drainage infrastructure, and preparing for a new parking lot.

Next up, we’ll begin forming and pouring two large post-tension concrete pads that will lay the groundwork for new training and athletic spaces.

More to come as progress continues.

Where real-world learning comes to life. 🩵

Gibbs High School Eagles was transformed with multiple upgrades, creating better spaces for students and staff as they plan for what’s next.

• A classroom was converted into a shop bay for the Automotive Area, including new paint, overhead door, footings for a car lift, and opening into the existing shop area. This space now has improved access, enhanced stability, and upgraded finishes, along with a renovated waiting room.

• The Cosmetology Room was redesigned with a new layout by relocating salon stations and adding a dividing wall, new entrance, safety vestibule, and four hair-washing stations, bringing more functionality into the space. This room also has upgraded power, plumbing, flooring, and paint.

• From the ceiling to the floors, the Offices and Staff Breakroom were upgraded with a new ACT ceiling, lighting, paint, cabinets, shelving, LVP flooring, carpet tile, and beyond!

Bring on the game-day rush 🌭

At Carter Park, we built a new concession stand building with roll-up windows, two ADA bathrooms, and a concrete pathway with handrails connecting the softball and baseball fields.

Whether hungry fans are making one quick stop or multiple between innings, this space is sure to keep the flow of traffic moving smoothly, so everyone can enjoy the game.

Creating spaces that support keeping communities safe. 📞

At Rhea County E-911 Center, we improved how its team operates every day with expanded space and modern upgrades.

911 Director Shane Clark shared:

“We needed the opportunity to expand our 911 Center and add some office space. We selected Skilled Services through an RFP process.

They created four additional office spaces, brand new bathroom with shower combo, a new kitchenette. We basically doubled the size of our current facility.

Had a few little hiccups here and there, but they were right with us side by side, and we’re extremely pleased with what has happened. Just have nothing but positive things to say. Anybody out there looking for a company to come in and do a project for them, I highly, highly recommend Skilled Services.”
