What You’ll Do
• Pull, package, and stage customer orders and cylinder stock.

What We’re Looking For
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Position Opening - Propane Fill Plant Technician/Shipping & Receiving in Huntsville, AL!
Job Summary-
The 1st shift production position will work in a team environment to safely and efficiently achieve daily production goals. Unload cylinder trucks as they return, if needed. Sort empty cylinders into like pallets while making sure each cylinder is safe and legal to fill per DOT law and Holston Gases policies. Fills propane cylinders according to known orders and available stock. Performs forklift inspection(s) at beginning of shift. Pull orders from inventory, receive shipments from vendors, stock shelves with inventory, maintains a neat, clean and professional workplace, Maintains neat, clean and professional personal appearance.
Essential Duties:
- Perform prefill inspection on all cylinders as required by DOT law and Holston Gases policies while sorting them onto pallets of like gas or mixture.
- Fill cylinders based on known orders at the time, stock levels, and/or availability of empty cylinders to fill.
- Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area at all times.
- Enter orders and transfers into computer system.
- Remove pallets and dump trash daily.
- Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
- Ship and receive inventory, stock shelves, organize and clean warehouse.

After 32 incredible years with Holston Gases, we are celebrating the retirement of a true team member. Mickey Trent has been a cornerstone of our team, and while we are sad to see him go, we are so proud of the decades of dedicated service he provided.
