🎉 Celebrating 20 Years of Ken! 🎉

Today, we’re celebrating an incredible milestone: 20 years with Ken as our Plant Manager at Medicoil!

For the past two decades, Ken has played an enormous role in helping Medicoil become the fantastic business it is today. Through his leadership, mentorship, dedication, and friendship, he has made a lasting impact on both the company and the people who make it what it is.

Ken genuinely cares about our employees, and that shows every single day. He leads with heart, supports his team, shares his knowledge, and has been someone so many people can count on over the years.

We truly value everything Ken has brought to Medicoil over the last 20 years, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had him as part of our team for all these years.

This week, both R&L Spring Company and Medicoil celebrated one of our favorite annual traditions... our Ice Cream Socials! 🍦

These events are something our employees look forward to every year, and we're grateful for everyone who came out to enjoy a sweet treat while supporting a great cause.

Together, our employees raised $400 for United Way of Walworth County, and we're proud to match that amount to make an even bigger impact in our community.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year's Ice Cream Socials another success. Supporting our employees and giving back to the communities where we live and work is something we're proud to be a part of!

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

As we celebrate 250 years of America, everyone at R&L Spring and Medicoil would like to wish you and your loved ones a safe, happy, and memorable Independence Day weekend. We hope you have the opportunity to relax, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy the traditions that make this holiday so special.

⚾ Yesterday, we had the pleasure of treating our R&L Spring and Medicoil team members to an Employee Appreciation Outing at the ballpark!

It was a beautiful day for baseball, great food, and even better company on the Johnsonville Party Deck. While the Brewers didn't come away with the win, the day was filled with plenty of laughs, conversations, and memories with our amazing team.

A sincere thank you to all of our employees for your hard work, dedication, and the positive impact you make every day. Opportunities like this are a small way for us to show our appreciation for everything you do. We are grateful to have such an incredible team behind R&L Spring and Medicoil.

After 37 incredible years, this week we celebrate the retirement of Jeri J.!

Jeri began her journey with R&L Spring and Medicoil as a receptionist and worked her way into the role of Customer Service Manager. Along the way, she became so much more than her title. Through her dedication, knowledge, leadership, and unwavering commitment, she helped shape Medicoil into the company it is today.

Jeri's laugh, sass, wisdom, and guidance have left a lasting impact on our team and culture. She has been a trusted resource, a mentor, and a friend to so many throughout the years.

While we will miss seeing her every day, we are excited for her as she begins this next chapter. We hope her retirement is filled with plenty of vacations, laughter, and special memories with family and friends.

Thank you for everything, Jeri. Your legacy will continue to be felt for years to come, and this place truly won't be the same without you.

At R&L Spring & Medicoil, we believe investing in the next generation is important to the future of manufacturing and our local communities. That’s why we were proud to participate in the Craftsman with Character program again this year.

Since January, students have rotated through both facilities, spending time alongside our teams and gaining real-world exposure to the manufacturing industry. A major focus of the program was helping students understand the importance of professionalism, communication, reliability, teamwork, showing up on time, and having a strong work ethic. These are valuable life and career skills that will benefit them no matter what path they choose.

Another goal of the program was to help students see that manufacturing offers so many different career opportunities beyond what is traditionally thought of. From maintenance and engineering to quality, operations, and machine operating roles, students were able to experience the variety of paths available within the industry.

It was especially rewarding to watch our employees step into mentorship roles and help guide the students throughout the program by sharing their knowledge, experiences, and advice for future success.

We are also excited to share that after successfully completing the program, Hayden will be joining R&L Spring full-time next week as a Maintenance Trainee. Congratulations, Hayden! We look forward to having you on the team and are excited for what’s ahead.
