I've been looking forward to announcing that the last of the tooling parts were completed this week. On a project this size, it’s not uncommon for a few parts to need rework or adjustments along the way, but the initial stack of prints is officially complete.

Approximately 10 months of full-time engineering, fabrication, and machining have gone into this project so far, and we’re finally in the home stretch.

The end goals have always been clear:
✔ Increased production
✔ Decreased downtime
✔ Safer machinery for the customer

Very soon, those improvements will begin saving them both time and money.

Assembly is moving along well, and wiring is coming together fast. It’s exciting to see months of planning and hard work turning into a finished system.

Their bravery gave us freedoms we often take for granted, and today we remember them with deep gratitude and respect.

Big things are happening this week! Assembly of the main machine frames is officially underway, and the final tooling pieces are being machined. After months of work behind the scenes, this project is about to look completely different in the coming weeks as all of the subassemblies come together.

Next up will be wiring and safety guarding as we move closer to bringing the full system to life. Exciting progress and a lot of momentum heading into the next phase!

Some of the parts we manufacture require a little bit of thinking outside the box. Standard, easy setups are not always possible. Sometimes we push the limits of our machinery to get a job done accurately in house.

There is a lot more behind machining than just pushing a button and watching chips fly. It takes problem solving, creativity, patience, and a willingness to figure things out when the “normal” way will not work.

That challenge is part of what makes this work rewarding. Seeing an idea come together through precision, teamwork, and experience never gets old.

All the main machine parts are finished, and we’re now working on the part fixture tooling. Assembly is mostly complete, and the pneumatics are currently being laid out. It’s exciting to watch that growing stack of finished parts finally come together.

One of the final components being machined are the rotary union air spindles. We had to order extra-long drill bits to complete these properly. After drilling, grooves are turned into the outside diameter to accommodate the O-rings and create the air passages.

Assembly is continuing right alongside this process, and things are steadily coming together.
