Some milestones deserve a little extra celebration, and 20 years is certainly one of them.

At our annual summer picnic, we had the privilege of recognizing Terry Bleckley for two decades of service to EMI.

Twenty years means being part of countless projects, changes, challenges, celebrations and chapters in EMI's story. In fact, Terry has been part of our team for two-thirds of EMI's 30-year history—a remarkable commitment and an incredible milestone.

We’re taking our 30th birthday celebration on the road! 🎂🚗

As we celebrate 30 years of EMI, we’ve been making a few special stops to deliver some birthday cake and, most importantly, say thank you.

🎉 He did it! Congratulations to Ian Sloat, EMI’s newest Dual Class I Water and Wastewater Operator!

Just two weeks after we celebrated Ian earning his Class II Wastewater Operator Certification, he has reached the next—and biggest—milestone: earning his Class I Wastewater Operator Certification.

With this achievement, Ian now holds Class I certifications in both Water and Wastewater Treatment, making him a Dual Class I Certified Operator—an accomplishment that reflects years of hard work, continued education, hands-on experience, and dedication to his profession.

At Engineering Management, Inc., we are incredibly proud of Ian and the commitment he has shown to advancing his knowledge and expertise. Having highly qualified professionals like Ian on our team strengthens the level of service we provide to our clients and the communities they serve.

Summer fun, EMI style! ☀️

Our annual EMI Summer Picnic gave us the perfect excuse to step away from the office, enjoy some great food, celebrate our team, and have a little friendly competition!

We recognized employee milestones, celebrated 3rd quarter birthdays and anniversaries, and said goodbye to our summer interns as they wrapped up their time with us.

We’re grateful for opportunities like these to come together outside of our day-to-day work and simply enjoy being a team 🫶🏻

Recently, our Water Resources team partnered with our MPE Services division in Union Point to provide support at the City's water treatment plant. By combining the strengths of multiple disciplines, we're able to deliver practical solutions and exceptional service for our clients.
