𝗔 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 & 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗲. ✨🌿 At 𝐹𝑎𝑖𝑟𝑤𝑎𝑦 𝑀𝑜𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑛, tall charcoal-brick walls frame a slate path and paired courtyards, where warm wood soffits, abundant greenery, and openings to the sky create a calm, light-filled transition from outdoors to in.

One courtyard also offers a tucked-away place to settle in—bringing a welcome sense of privacy and pause to this thoughtfully composed entry sequence.

His strikes a bespoke, richly layered note, pairing dark millwork and warm wood flooring with a textured green ceiling and bird-patterned bench. Hers is light, artful, and unabashedly feminine, with custom cabinetry, a flowering ceiling, sculptural lighting, and beautifully considered storage.

Working alongside interior designer Keith Wardlaw of Loft West, California Closets, and a trusted team of skilled collaborators, our RM Standard team executed a modern, highly personal interpretation of tradition throughout this 6,100-square-foot Leawood Cape Cod—featured in Design KC Magazine’s “𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏” in Spring 2024.
