We made quick work of this brush pile removal today!

Two loads in the dump trailer, and we got 'er done! We didn't quite make it to the dump with the second load, so we headed back with our dump truck and one of our flatbeds to pick up the equipment.

The best part? Our customer has regained a whole lot of space on their property and can finally put that area back to good use!

Not a bad way to spend the first half of a Saturday!

It's a brisk 32 degrees up in these mountains this morning! We're going to finish up these culverts and then head back down to where it's hopefully a tad warmer!

As cold as it may be, you just can't beat the beauty of the PNW mountains! Definitely makes for a pretty incredible office view!

This morning we met up with the forrest service and got our equipment inspected.

We are headed back up tomorrow to continue working out our erosion control project!

With fuel prices these days, we're exploring some more fuel-efficient hauling options!

The Prius might struggle a little on the hills, but just think of the fuel savings!

We're doing everything we can to keep our prices affordable for our customers, even if that means downsizing the tow rig a little!

Now, if someone could just figure out how to get 40 MPG while hauling two Kubotas, we'd really be in business!

Spent the day in tbe mountains starting our big erosion control project. It was nice and peaceful up there! We'll be here all week. Didn't see any bears though... I kinda wanted to pet one. Sigh....oh well... tomorrow's a new day.

Getting ready for next week's erosion control project!

We spent part of today picking up our certified weed-free straw and special seed mix. Thanks to some FREE labor from the wife and kiddos, we had the dump trailer loaded up in no time!

Next week, we'll be putting this straw to work as part of an erosion control project covering approximately 10 miles of forest roads and multiple culvert locations!

With the beautiful fall weather we've been having here in Oregon, it's shaping up to be a great week ahead to get some work done!

Nothing beats a little family teamwork, some sunshine, and getting ready for another project!
