As we prepare for the next chapter of From Dirt to Daily Living, we've spent a lot of time thinking about the pieces of this property worth preserving.

While the old farmhouse has reached the end of its life, not everything here is destined to disappear.

Over the past several months, we've uncovered and restored a hand-dug well believed to be over 100 years old and preserved a remarkable piece of the property's history hidden beneath the surface.

These structures tell a story about how people lived, worked, and built long before modern conveniences existed.

What took generations to build came down in just a matter of days.

Over the past several weeks, we've been documenting every step of this transformation—from the final days of the old farmhouse to the beginning of an entirely new chapter.

While we're still putting together the full demolition video, we wanted to share a few behind-the-scenes moments from the process.

It's hard to describe the emotions that come with watching a structure that has stood for so many years disappear. But before anything new could be built, this chapter had to close.
