Before any amphib float ships, we swing test the landing gear and monitor operating pressure, cycle time and several other things that make sure the gear will functions properly once installed. Here, I am watching the nose gear swing while the dog watches the main gear for me.

Follow along as we complete the final assembly of a PK 2050A amphibious float we are building for a Carbon Cub. This stage typically takes 3 people about 3 hours, but 2 months of work were required to get to this stage. This is the very first Cessna 180 on PK 3050A's, owned by Currier's Flying Service, taxing for a runway departure. This P-Ponk machine has proved to be a very capable amphib, with very little difference in performance from the PK3000's that were previously installed.
